vitamins and nutrigrain bars
a feel sick declaration to the stars

its getting late again, my excuse
night brigade to find my muse

good bright morning early
true dreams waiting to be fed

feel like i'm winning
right now my head's spinning
round and round in a circle
of lost time and song

turn off the tv
the background horror of it all
colors and swirls of light too tall

time to begin again
time to sink in again

be back tomorrow
for more of the same
