Angel in Blue

An angel shrouded in blue, more pristine as I come to
Reality disguised in cryptic dreams
You’re so complicated; you’re so intricate
Movin’ way to fast for me
A light dancing in from eternity

Is this moment too late? Is this moment too soon?
Manufacture pictures of fantastic skies
A jester in red, gracious before the queen
Simply content to stand and sing

The cherub held her ground, told me to listen to the sound
An entire spectrum blending to harmony
You’re so complicated, so very intricate
A reflection seen in passing, eerie photographs of black and white

So may a moment too late be a moment too soon
Contradict her vision of the mourning fog
A jester in red, steady before the king
Deftly content to stand and sing

False floors open below
What a test for your brilliant new wings
Suspended above all of your hopes and fears
These feathers mind's eye fashioned
tank you veddy much
