Cynicism is

Cynicism is nothing to be proud of!
bitter people wear it like a gasoline glove
but
why not take each person as a new day?
not necessarily evil or good but, say,
unknown?
bad things CAN surprise us, yet
wonderful events can inject
all people with new hope
open it up, keep out the dark
Nature is neutral, a park
weeds or flowers, leaves or sticks
dry or wet, it all fits
I'd rather be a fool who
figures out what to do
with
the good, the bad, the
fluctuations of destiny

    Oooo, "Cynicism...bitter people wear it like a gasoline glove"--I llike that, justam! :) And I agree with you--greeting each person as a brand new day is a much better way to live.
