I spend so much time listening to air
it's surprising I don't notice that it's not there!
it has so much substance to me
it seems a big reality
but truly, it's just vibrations, fluctuations
in the space of the room
if my ears remain on that road
so much like a train on a track
my focus comes back
in that sonic bed, it fixes my head

There's a great bit in Jane Eyre, where bigheaded Rochester looks at Jane's artwork, and asks her, who taught her to paint the wind?

Wind isn't something one goes to an academy to learn to paint, word or shape in sound. Rochester had to go blind to see that.

Continue to paint the wind, justam. :)
