Piece by piece
the picture took shape
what had started as a vague
colored swirl, had meaning
as the details emerged
she saw a picture that surprised her
with contradictory bits
fairy tale characters mixed
with nightmare images
dark corners and bright spots
love and fear
and hope and despair
all swirling together
to form the whole
she decided she loved the complexity
of the confusion
even if the puzzle was proving
difficult to finish

this remins me of myself when I paint...I get so caught up in it, don't even feel time passing...never thought writing about it...anyway, a really true and sincere one, I like it, a lot ))
