If I was better with words

I might be able to express love the way I feel it
I might be able to paint an enormous picture
with beautiful, vivid colors
colors that are so warm that they are overwhelming

If I was better with words
maybe I could tell you
how I feel sometimes
when I wake up from a dream
when you visit me

But, I’m awful
I’m brief
I’m not good at it
and so it comes out wrong

    I have to tell you I thought about this phrase a long time ago. If I wrote down what I thought a long time ago, I'm sure it would have been the best thing ever written in the world. However, I forgot what the exact words were a long time ago, and now I have this little Hallmark greeting left. I'm glad you like it, though :-)

    It doesnt hurt.... when I bleed
    but memories...they eat me
