I don't know

I don’t know how others do it
they fall in love and get love in return
I receive love
and I give plenty of love
but I’ve never managed to fall in love and have it come back to me
I’m an excellent wife, bedmate, and friend,
but I don’t know how people manage to be in love
I feel like I’ve been left out of the loop somehow
and I don’t know what it is that I’m doing wrong

    some feelings aren't natural
    some of them are naturalized
    It was a dream, not a nightmare. A beautiful dream I could never imagined in a thousand nods. I saw this girl next to me, she wasn't beautiful until she smiled. And I felt that smile come at me in heat waves following. Soaking through my body and out my finger tips in shafts of color. And I knew somewhere in the world, somewhere, that there was love for me.
