I wish I knew how to write a Romance
because then I might have a very small chance
to sweep you up, and into my arms
where I could be comfortable using some charms
maybe you’d believe then that I desperately pray
to God or whatever to help you to stay
I wish I could bring you small flowers of pink
and write you love letters with bright scarlet ink
Maybe then you'd feel soft and somewhat complete,
want to lounge on my sofa and prop up your feet
