Is everything love, really?

Am I crazy?
Is sex always love?
Is love always having sex?
Lusting and panting only?
Does love have to be a public display or should it be kept close to one’s heart?

And what about hearts?
What about privacy?
What about sacred words whispered behind closed doors?

I think a person can have a burning bed yet not walk around smelling of smoke all the time
At least, in my house the heat is left in my bedroom

And what about love of a mind?
Is that so irrelevant that it goes unmentioned?
What about spirit, isn’t that important?
I guess I’m way off
but I hope not

  • The truth. What a lovely thing to write. I blush at the readings of some, so not soo far fetched.
K-The lost will do their best to get home, if they are loved. To our soldiers who have given what they had.
  • I suppose some love is left smouldering and smelling of hot smoke,
because the fire was left burning, with noone there to stoke.

Some fires must be seen from afar, across very distant shores,
far away feelings yearning to be close, pleading and needing more. :)

We all have different way of expressing how we feel. We all grow and change at a different pace. True love must be a love of mind, body and soul, IMO. Private sometimes, public others...but I say, to each, his/her own. :)

You're not way off, you're just cut of a different cloth. :)

    You're right. Everyone is different.

For some reason I needed to react because I felt like I was being relentlessly poked with a stick and it wouldn't go away until I said something!!!! :p

Should I ever need reminding---please remind me, that if I should feel like poking, that I should do so with a tiger lily and not a stick. :D

Good read Justam - you are not alone! :)
Our love must not be just words, but True Love, which shows itself in action,
No one needs a smile more than someone who fails to give one,
After you die...you know how to LIVE!

I was thinking of the journalist hostage, and trying to write a poem of her last moments ( I hope it hasn't happend, yet.) As I was thinking of her I wondered if in the last moment of life does sin or what is perceived as sin really exist? Then when I saw this thread I wonder if in the last moment of life does love exist? I think it does, and the earlier question about sin was me just trying a new draft of a poem. However, if we looked at love as not existing in the last moment of life, then maybe it is more of the carnal plane, you think?
