A ghost town

as I walk on a wooden walkways
it feels like the wind has come and gone
somehow, it's the day after everyone left
and I'm alone to explore the empty place

Being unharmed, I notice the lovely morning
I know I should feel sad for the departed,
but
instead,
I'm just so damn happy to be left alive!

  • :) Just like justam to take a sad situation and still be able to find the smiles in it. :)
