Feeding my loved ones

I'm not a great cook so recipes can't be too complex or time-consuming.
While my kids are young I'm usually pressed for time and don't usually have more than an hour to spend making dinner. That's why I tend to look for fairly simple yet delicious recipes. Good, healthy, fresh ingredients are prefered, and dishes that can be put together in 2 or 3 steps are my favorite.
It's not that I'm unintelligent--(no, I don't think a person could say that about me!!)--but I just prefer the simplicity. My mind is always buzzing about feelings and sound. I always cook to music and often I sing along too.
When the hour is done, everything is ready to go. The table is set, everyone is fed at 6pm. My boys can count on three different dishes and a drink or two. There's a stability and a cheerfulness that they rely on. They are always fed on time and we laugh so it's usually a happy meal.
