sometimes I sit down and smile
‘cuz I get these surprises
gifts I never expected arrive
love from places I’ve never seen
and now I’m just waiting
patiently
to see what tomorrow will bring
I start each day putting out the best I can
and I’ve had a few challenges
that I usually, somehow, manage to live up to
but when unbelievably good things happen
I just get quiet,
SMILE,
and thank my lucky stars!!
