Take a nap any day and
you can see your very own angel
soft and incandescent
flowing brown curls like a halo
wings and clean bare feet and hands
the protection you need if
you sit under that magic tree
that reminds you to wish for a view

  • I enjoyed this JA

    thanks
The only thing I enjoy is having no feelings....being numb rocks!

And I won't make the same mistakes
    (Because I know)
Because I know how much time that wastes
    (And function)
    Function is the key
  • Nice - very sweet and comforting yet gives the impression of a dreamlike state

  • Lovely. :)
"this one, anytime I say love if you wanna say love, uh, say it, and if you say it you might as well say it loud, and if you don't feel like sayin' it, don't say it, but if you feel it, certainly say it..."

NOTE: Everything I write in the P,P&M section are intended to be songs, not poetry.

haha :) you should chat with my husband sometime. he never gets enough sleep, and if i try and go for a nap in my "off time" he chalks it up to "depression". "sleep is sacred", I tell him. Yep, he's a stubborn one alright. Cheers to naps!---they're very underrated--and not only reserved for children and the lazies like myself :D

People in hot countries have the right idea with Siestas. :)
