Nervous - poster framing

So i just dropped off my '03 East Troy poster at hobby lobby to get framed today. That poster is very important to me and it's been in storage for the last 5 years. I finally said fuck it...it's time to get it done.
I am excited about the layout I picked out....black matte with orange metal frame but I'm nervous as hell and excited at the same time to see what it looks like.

Like a word misplaced...nothing said...what a waste

The Sentence Above Is False
Any idea on what I should do with it? color scheme etc?
I'd like to get some input from seasoned vets with a better eye than me.
The Sentence Above Is False
great... I can see I'm getting in over my head here.
off to do some "poster framing the right way" research...

Just curious, how much did they charge? I'm looking to get something similar done.

My friend was going to see Eddie last night. Since he was in Vegas, I gave him 5 Grand to gamble with. I told him I wanted it all to go on Black. Bastard! PhillyCrownOfThorns-11-2-12
Fifty to the framer????
Take 25 and spend the rest of the dough on east coast shows!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You are right, it IS very expensive when you have these done. I just decided that the longer I put it off, the chance of them actually getting done would get smaller and smaller. Then I would get fed up with the whole thing and either burn them or give them away!!! I found a local framer that told me if I promised to give him all of my biz, that he would cut me a great deal and really just charge me for material. Cant wait to FINALLY get some of these up on the wall!! 75 posters (Ihave 25 or so done already) on ONE GIANT WALL.!!!!

Actually considered it....then decided that the posters needed to get done....Plus, I couldnt get into SC for under like $600 and didnt want to just fly out for 2 shows...So I am opting to sit this one out. I will wait til the shows closer to home...;)

Can anyone tell me an average price of getting a poster framed. I went to a place yesterday and they said 225 and I said fuck no. But is that the kind of price I should have been expecting?

... and indeed, there are quite a few of these in the framed poster thread ...
"I don't believe in damn curses. Wake up the damn Bambino and have me face him. Maybe I'll drill him in the ass." --- Pedro Martinez
I think that is out line, I live in Chicago area and found a mom & pop shop who do a great job for around $75 - 90 per poster. But I also don't like to to matte, I just think it can be too much.
"Love is a tower
Of strength to me
I am the shoreline
But you're the sea"
Depending on what you are doing....I'd say that is way out of line. Like the other guy said $75 - $100 is probably average....and I'm just going off of what people have said on here. I've only had a few done. This East Troy one I just took in will be the most I've paid. It's all going to depend on the size, matte and frame...but I couldn't justify paying over $130-$150 (or so) to get one framed....just isn't worth it to me. I'll stick a tack in it and hang it on the wall before I spend $250 on a frame job....and that will never happen.
Yea I agree. So how do you go about hanging one without actually doing damage to it? I want to display it, but not if it's going to cause physical damage.

I just dropped off 81 PJ posters today..81!!!...Was only going to do about 50, and then realized I had brought them all with me...so, after some thought and consideration, I decided to say fuck it and just get ALL of the ones I had already mounted done.....
I had buyers remorse 5 minutes after I left, but am already over it!

I guess I decided that I needed to get these posters framed MORE than I needed to see a few shows this time around. I was at a point if I didnt do SOMETHING with them, then I was wasting my time even collecting. Why collect if they were just going to sit in a box. So I decided to put a little investment into my investment so they can be displayed properly in all their glory!! There will be plenty more shows to see!
