Those keys

They’re smooth and light,
black and white--polished bright
making sounds soft and loud
shy or proud
gentle or mad
happy or sad
And on those nights when I’m feeling extremely moody,
I can play a song that’s dark and gloomy
And then, somehow, the feeling passes away
They’re a blessing to me,
all because someone taught me how to play!

two more years and i'm bringing my piano in the house and getting the kid's lessons started.
i'm so excited... maybe even i'll learn?
If you go with them to their lessons, you'll be part way there. I take my son to drums every week and I'm learning quite a bit!
have a good night, justam
i'm outtie
I wish I had picked up an instrument in my youth...you have a greater ability to take things in.
Personally, I love the drums. I would compare it to going to the gym to hit the speed bag.....poetry in motion. Channelling your energy. It can be very intense.
And I won't make the same mistakes
(Because I know)
Because I know how much time that wastes
(And function)
Function is the key
with drool, for depop
we go to drums after piano
now, fer reels g'night!
