maybe you think I’m merely grateful
(I am grateful, but I’m in love too)
maybe you think I’m not excited
(this thought is entirely untrue!!)

But me, I’m dreaming of making you happy
(which is why I’m waiting here for you)

    I'm glad it sounds that way. :)
    Sometimes I worry that not enough of what I'm feeling comes out of me in words...so often it's just the barest outline or suggestion of what's inside.
