The Mysterious House

There was a house
no one knew who the occupants were
yet inside there was occasionally movement
lights would flash
furniture might crash
and sometimes there was loud barking
kind women left food by the front door
and next day find a clean plate
but no one really knew who the shut in was
he hid
and never came out
but it was observed that there was more noise
when the women forgot to leave dinner
