This or that?

People might mistake moths for butterflies
I don't see how, but
maybe color-blindness?
someone might mistake a chinchilla for a squirrel if
they've never seen the softest pet
and I guess ants all look the same to
folks who've never had the pleasure of meeting
a hungry fire ant
but there are distinctions between all of these
creatures
are some better and some worse?
who is to say?
is it a difference of beauty or rarity?
perhaps that
specific features that separate the groups?
yes
perhaps one only seems better because of taste?
which do we prefer?
this or that?
and, well, what of it?
we're all
entitled
to
our
own
taste
