“Say something, anything...”
okay, I say,
I don’t want to be done
before we’ve begun
I don’t want to be a waitress
serving an impatient customer
I don’t want to be a caboose
following the leader
I want to be in love
and I feel you do too
can’t we just find some trust
in these two big hearts?
We have them,
shouldn’t we get to know ‘em?
