It's apparent?
someone like me should learn
more about self-defense
I won't, I don't, I haven't...
and I never wore body armor
I should have remembered a breast plate
or a helmet at least

    Women are soft
    or so we're told
    We're the gentler sex
    or has that grown old?

    There is nothing wrong with
    having the door opened
    for us
    There is nothing wrong with
    being treated as the people
    we are

    The people who stay
    and try to keep peace
    the people who stay
    for the kids' sake

    The people who stay
    in the great big unknown
that tries to call itself home
    Yet shatters,
    when things go wrong

    There's nothing wrong
    with having a black eye
    There's nothing wrong
    with being locked outside naked
    There's nothing wrong
when it all turns out wrong
    There's nothing wrong
    in turning out right

    Women are soft
when you turn out the light
    Women are soft
    except when we fight

    Women are soft
when you turn out the light
    Women are soft
    until we grab a knife

    Women are soft
    they are playthings
    not in a boxing ring
    Women are soft
    until we're hurt
    for the last time
    Feels Good Inc.
