At what point

At what point do thoughts become something solid?
every single thing that was ever invented started first as a thought without a body

it wasn’t real in the physical world yet, but it was born
it grew when someone took the idea and made it firm

surely there are many things that people didn’t follow to completion
and one can assume there were good and bad excuses given

but what about our favorite idea?
shouldn’t we give it a chance to live and be solid?

how could I ever forgive myself if I was so passive that I let my most lovely idea die?
I’d rather try to make it whole and complete, don’t you think that’s a better?
I do.

Hey, I like this. Its a great concept/comparisons (I am not sure I am expressing what I am trying to say).

    Anyways...really original....thanks for sharing

The only thing I enjoy is having no feelings....being numb rocks!

And I won't make the same mistakes
    (Because I know)
Because I know how much time that wastes
    (And function)
    Function is the key
  • Oooo, very good, justam!!!!!! :) And it's true too! You know what? I can picture these colourful thoughts swirling around in front of me, my mind slowly bending them and shaping them and conjuring solidity until the dream takes form and I am able to pluck it from the ether. :) It's a pleasant thought and your poem makes me feel like anything's possible if you put your head and heart into it. Thanks, once again, justam for making me smile! :)
