If my love is anything like that plant I started caring for,
it’s gotten bigger
and it has more tangled arms and legs
(my jade put out lots of new leaves and spouts)
I started to water that thing everyday
at least twice or thrice
(sometimes with Miracle grow)
and it’s looking so healthy
I smile when I see it
because it used to be alive,
but
a
bit
bare
Now it's full and healthy and green
all because I started paying more attention to it
Being solid and alive, I can see it
filling up the window
I wonder if my love has so obviously grown too?
