So, today I was thinking...
wouldn’t it be nice if I was something you could carry around?
maybe a small smooth pebble?
or a miniature bell that made a lovely sound?

I have a single advantage--I can be near you always
but it must be more difficult for you...
If you miss me,
there’s not much to hold onto

So here is one something you can keep
it’s a love note for you
please put it in your pocket
and take it out when you feel blue

There’s a woman who loves you
and her feeling is true
and she will be extremely happy
the next time she sees you
