Eyes and lips and fingertips

Eyes and lips and fingertips
so soft and good for love
to see, to kiss, to feel you there
they’re all I’ll need at first

but later,
of course,
there’ll be more parts
like legs and arms and backs
but mostly there will be our hearts
and ears to hear the words

there’ll be flowing hair
and feet so bare
and lots of happy smiles
rubbing toes and hips and noses
we can’t forget all those
