Hearts so close it felt like heaven
Hands so far apart it hurt
Far, near, not here...
Where was the middle place to meet?
Where's that comfortable space where mouths could speak?
Magic & reality & communication
Do they have to be at odds?
Why do they have to compete?

    I feel that "our words," are the middle ground.
    My heart achs because it wants to share the love it feels with my hands.
    Not competing, rather a longing. :)
