I wonder if there’s a delicious, nutrious way
to organize each and every day,
an equation that allows for work and play
because certainly everyone needs to balance both

Most people need a dream to chase
often something less than easy
where effort is not out of place
yet too much difficulty, for a long time, can be exhausting

Yet to bounce from easy to hard randomly
probably isn’t too good for peace of mind
I wonder if there’s a way to perfectly, handsomely,
solve the problem of being sometimes light and sometimes heavy

the only difference between fabricated diamonds and real ones are the imperfections. at least that's what someone told me once, but i'm thinking there must be a whole slew of other things, too. like... time.. perhaps.

time is the ultimate balancer. nothing matters if you wait long enough :)

nice poem, justam :) thank you
