I'm off the fence

I'm off the fence
yes
optimism/realism vs. pessimism/realism
pessimists believe they are being realistic
but are they?
hmm...
maybe?
sometimes (?)
but, more often, I'm convinced that over the long-term things get better
people move forward
they solve problems
they build on ideas
look at humans
o-o~
food, reproduction, survival!!
so very successful
that
we're over-running the planet!
even that...
what do you bet we'll fling ourselves out into space when we run outta run?
what do you bet some genius individual will work out how to stop
the destruction of our habitat?
(that worry of all)
look at the past
o-o~
look at the present
*big eyes!!*
how did we get here?
humans solved problems
they added,
discovered,
they worked it out!
why not pour our energy into humanity?
educate everyone
every
humble or stinky
one
we already stand on the shoulders of
the wagon trainers
the ship builders
the curious ones
the medicine makers
the track layers
the story-telling history savers
survivors
over-running the earth
(it's true)
but
no matter what, moving forward
optimism has to win
we'd be dead otherwise
not dying from the crowds

It should read "when we run outta room" instead of "when we run outta run."
