Bouncing like a superball

moody and cranky and insecure
these days come by
why I can’t stop it, I’m not sure
hormones and boiling
and thinking and ranting
there’s no better solution
than pushing and panting
and talking and laughing

    I hear ya, hon.

    I wrote this as somewhat of a joke, and somewhat as a crying out, when I was on the wrong hormone pills last year and could no longer make sense of myself for a week:

    "Girl’s Night In"

    My name is Pia Mess
    and I’ve come to stay
    for a week or two...
    Now don’t get blue!

    Just keep chocolate around
    and your loved ones at bay
    take a Midol or two
    and you won’t get blue!

    Increased inches in bust
    purse-size Kleenex a must
    You hate the sight of you
    but, don’t you get blue!

    Skin’s pimply and mottled
    Crave your hot-water bottle
    and a drink or two
    because you’re so blue!

    You’re one hell of a hostess!
    Your behavior’s atrocious!
    They’ll part ways with you
    Then won’t you be blue!

    Meantime I’ll be with you
    with salty chips and tissues
    I just love this - don’t you?
    Oh, don’t be so blue!

    my balls usually bounce up and down
    and all around
    and sideways too
    in full view

    when I forget to put on my boxers
    or take them off

    or I bounce them off the walls
    those crazy crazy bouncing balls

    I'm [ever | rather] upper class high society
    God's gift to ballroom notoriety
    I always fill my ballroom
    The event is never small
    The social pages say I've got
    The biggest balls of all
