Women aren't like horses
they don't need to be broken so you can ride 'em
some cowpokes seem to need to hurt 'em
see 'em cry
make 'em kick
hear 'em scream
to feel safe enough to climb on
but they ain't horses!
they can chose to yield or not on their own

  • don't go thinking
    if you burn 'em
    and brand 'em
    that they still won't
    wander far from home

    You tell 'im, justam! :)

  • You're right AM
women are not just horses to ride
    nor cattle to be branded
    bought sold or traded

    Cowboys ought not
    to be jaded
    or hurt
    or the love of their
    may be faded

But cowgirls may like to take the reigns
and drive the herd long, hard and far
    in the midnight
    beneath the moon and stars

They may like to ride like the wind
    and thunder down under
and let their lightning loose on the range
    and buck like a bull
    till their bronco
    gives it up
    and makes 'em full

    Certainly they can yield
    or not
    and play the country field
    and find out which cowboy
    tends and cares
    their fertile ground
    they've tilled

    And eat all the meat
    they've killed
    and not killed
    just for the frill
    just for the thrill

Any wild horse can be tamed
if you can find what feeds their hunger
    what quenches their thirst
    what bends the minds
    and makes 'em burst
and then puts on a pedestal
    and makes you, first
