Does everyone

Does everyone fall in love with sounds?
somedays it's impossible not to end up
on the ground
maybe it's just a soft spot in my brain?
I don't know but it feels like a lucky thing
to fall in love
when tones sing

I used to joke that my metal fillings in my teeth pick up airwaves (like Jan did once, in the Brady Bunch). I hear a song in the morning, and all day it is in my head, walking with me as I walk my bouncy walk, working with me as I multi-task at my desk.

Some nights, falling asleep to the sound of the fan in the window (summertime) my brain plays orchestral music that even Beethoven would applaud.

A day without music is a day that sends me closer to my grave. A day WITH music is a day that makes me younger.

Certain songs knock me down and make me remember things I've totally forgotten. Certain songs knock me down by bringing back pain I wish I could erase.
    Feels Good Inc.

Do you really feel back pain from some? There's a theory that chronic back pain without a physical cause is the brain's way of trying to distract you from an emotional pain. I wonder if that's true?
