Missed evenings

Some nights
he imagined he saw her
out
and he couldn’t understand why she
didn't come over and speak
(but it was just
another brunette
in a shadow)
while
inside at home
she was wondering why
he didn’t just call
and ask her to go out

    You know, poems like this make me wonder sometimes, should I pick up the phone?

    I agree, but would they like a call if they don't like what I might have to say?

    I think most people like to know what's going on.
    I think it's good for people to try things even if there's a chance it won't work...and as a general rule, females like men who aren't afraid of them.
