I’ve learned a lot
and I can tell you
it's true
you don’t give yourself enough love

you feel you need it from outside
when really you need it from
your very own inside
if you search for it outside,
you'll only be temporarily satisfied

‘til it shines on your own soul
all the love you get
from me and everyone who loves you
merely
provides you a clue about
what's beautiful inside of you

    Absolutely True AM
    In the beginning
    and in the end
    'tis only you, my friend

    There's no shame in loving yourself
    It's only when you'e "In Love" with yourself
    that others can tell
    you want nothing else

    Love starts from within as you said
    It has to have roots from your own heart
    in order to sprout and grow
    and let others share in your love

    Loverly, just loverly, justam! :) I liked that you didn't condemn this person and that last stanza is wonderful! To me, it says, "See how much we love you--we think you're fantastic! Please see in yourself what we see in you and please believe it to be true." :)
