split seams

seems
so easy to
swim with a current
fall down from above
fly a flag in the wind
wish at a fountain
push an empty cart
pull a stale cake apart
admire the rose buds
wash down a drain with the suds
scream in a crowd
sing outloud
march in a parade
watch a sunset fade
play in a park
cry in the dark
wait for dawn
crush a penny beneath a train
get wet in the rain
love that man
break a silence
oh, don't you see?
I tried to make it so very easy
just for you & somehow it wasn't
do you even realize
it woulda been completely
impossible
for anyone else?
