it was so hard to figure out
where she got lost
but she didn't want to get out of the car
and ask
strangely, she shared that male trait
so she turned around
covered that road again
hoping to find a better route
after all, if one was methodical
it was only a matter of time

one must work
and eventually, there'd be a street sign
