Nasty surprise

What to do on a day where
people seem out of their minds?
like walking into a room you left clean
and finding a God-awful mess
like coming home to a burnt-out house
when you stepped out for a quick errand
I don't know
I don't know
it's shocking to me
and I don't know what to say

    There are days like that. Is it Mercury in retrograde, as the astrologers say? Who knows. Some days, stuff just gets hit by entropy!
