I found it true
about ten years into
my marriage that people take a while to know
and if we're lucky, later on
the better qualities show
I feel everyone's more fortunate if
the longer you love someone
the better it gets
and we're happier if
the person gets more interesting, not less

    i found it true
    about ten years ago
    when my ex partner became my partner
    i was anything but lucky, i knew
    it then and i was convinced of it
    three years later when he became my ex again
    that the tighter you grip
    a selfish decision
    the more foolish it becomes
    i'm not sure if i'm happier now
    but i am surely wiser
    and i know i won't be
    making that mistake again
    i am just starting to feel regrown
    and it is i who has become more interesting.

    might have reason to be happy? i can only speak for myself. i know i am happy. but sometimes things come up that throw you for a loop.

    I am passionaltly, madly in love with cate.
    We have explored so many areas: a form of love and commitment
    I have never before experienced. I am extremely happy. Almost as happy as I will be in 2007

    This is such a sweet love story. It's probably one of the best ones I've heard in quite a while. :)
