On a night like this

On a night like this, I need you to come
here by me, stay ever near
like the glow of heaven, the air is warm
it's hot in the space between us
golden, orange, red and yellow
kiss me deeply, kiss me shallow
just wrap me close, and join my heart
all for love, my every part
I'll peel the soul shell like I know how to do
and maybe we'll tumble or talk the night through
join me, so coverless, in truth
give me your loveliness
when together it's better
than when we're apart
