thump, thump

So, if I was able to gush and spurt at will it'd be a messy place here
I'd be pouring love and oozing stickiness
whenever I felt it was even remotely desired
(and wouldn't it be nice if that was always?!)
I would try to satisfy
the biggest appetite
in fact, it could be a fun thing to do!
so much better to have someone anxious for
attention and love
so much better than coldness
so much better than anger
or silence
or indifference
hurray for an open, hungry heart
it's still beating!
