Man, woman, children, home
such a simple arrangement
if anyone were to ask me
I'd say that's what I want
so how come I'm happier with you?
have I just been trained not to mind?
am I just unaware of something everyone else knows?
I keep thinking I want something simple yet I'm happier
with the complication of you
