Summer's here
the pretty girls come out of hibernation
the boys, the eager boys oh dear
act like they're the next sensation
I just sit back for a while
observe quietly and smile

  • I was clearing out a stream early this morning, and it was approaching 80 degrees already. Fookin' glorious. I saw four travellers' ponies grazing the meadows, their tails swishing big flies away; and there was a row of horse chestnut trees now in flower; the willow was rustling on the Cam; rowing teams were practicing on the river, their oars slicing and foaming the gleaming water.
