Random samplings, random thoughts
thoughts that makes no sense
thoughts of me and you...
betrayed by time and evolution
betrayed by the earth's revolution...
somehow, along the road
darkened alleys,
unpassable pathways
would be opened and lit somehow...
distractions, contradictions
goes on and on and on...
if the river is too vast
but why only take a dip...
if i could swim across rivers
and lakes, would i be here?
mesmerized... mystified...
by what holds inside...
would i rather be blind
than to stand behind...
you could never tell
cause you would never fall...
im all alone
inside our well,
waiting for you to fall...
but you would never...
maybe i better leave
would it be better somehow..???
time steals, time would heal...
memories, regrets
and those moments...
what am i to do...
when all is you...

Being Enlightened

I feel like I'm swimming in the vast, confused darkness of unrequited love after reading this, mosesrnr. Tis a sad tale and it seems to be a trend with all the poetry I'm reading today---I really like the last 2 lines!
