she was with someone,
i was with no one...
she and i,
we felt diff'rent...
she was my sky
and i was her alibi...
we spent time together
wished it lasted forever...
but forever,
turned into never...
and soon,
it was all over...
now, it's early morning
and life is still...
missing someone
who never was...
it pains
like a memory of thorns...
yet all it really was,
was a glimpse of nothing...
