her book is almost finished
she waits on a visit
from one who doesnt come
saves a smile she will never get to flash
wonders why he wont show his love
all she wants
all she needs
is to hold his hand in the darkness that surrounds her
his absence hurts more than the cancer ever could
she turns the final page
finishes the last sentance
then slowly drifts away
one final glance at the door before she goes
hoping to see the form
from the one who doesnt come

  • Ah, unseen, as usual, you are feeling sooooo much!

Thanks so much for sharing and for seeing the unseen and giving them voice!
