That was some hurricane,
Rode in on the back of a heart attack.
Made a mistake on the fire escape in san francisco.
Made my way back in a hallway in l.a.
Put on your black dress.
Float on your back.
Too long, too lame,
Now i'm gone.
Somewhere to sleep,
Somewhere to sleep,
Somewhere to scrape your body off my feet.
Put on your black dress.
Float on your back.
Too long ,too lame,
Now i'm gone
White belly up in the sun,
White belly up in the sun.
Still diving for the big one.
Put on your black dress.
Float on your back.
Put on your black dress.
Foat on your back.
Too long, too lame,
Now i'm gone
White belly up in the sun,
White belly up in the sun.
Rode in on the back of a heart attack.
Made a mistake on the fire escape in san francisco.
Made my way back in a hallway in l.a.

HEY lifeisworth, you wouldn't believe what I found at a record store hereabouts.
The album King was released in a promo format, a 6" x 9" book with every page embossed and pressed and custom printed with a promo custom printed CD... it's freakin beautiful.
LOVE BELLY and SAD DRESS IS LIKE MY FAVORITE SONG. Also, DREAM on ME.
Also, The Bees, and Judas My Heart and.... well... everything.
YOU ALL NEED TO LISTEN TO THE SUNDAYS AS WELL. HARRIET WHEELER IS GOD.
You can find it online for around a hundred. HEE HEE YESSS!
and seta... i just got king last week i've had star forever...
i saw them back in 93 or 94 and that's what prompted me to get the record... hella good band
sad dress is a great song, i can't really separate one song out and say it's my fave... untogether, maybe...
do you have any Throwing Muses? I have House Tornado, and it's amazing...
the sundays? heard of 'em and on the radio i'm sure...
Sundays discography:
reading, writing, and arithmetic
blind
static & silence
static & silence is incredible, but so are the other two. It bears special mention because it really is their best album. They were an incredible britpop band that decided that life was more important than music, so they all went to have families. How rare.
I don't have any throwing muses, UNfortunately. But I do have a lot of Breeders stuff, since our Tanya was a founding member... and on the Kim Deal side I do have the Pixies Live at BBC album, which is worth every penny...
I am SO glad someone likes Belly around here.
