Rudolph is waiting to take us away
flying us high in santa's sleigh
the cool crisp air fills our lungs
as we catch snowflakes upon our tongues
we fly around the globe, way up high
feeling the cold, we wish it was july
wanting to go home you grab the reins
wishing to grab a few candy canes
i'll fix you some tea to keep you warm
after our trip through the snow storm
i'll sit you down in a chair a rocking
then i'll make sure to hang your stocking
filling it up with pretty things
shiny and silver that are not rings
i hope you'll like my heartfelt gift
symbolic of my love which will not drift
then over to you i will go
to kiss your head and make you glow *
wishing you a very very
christmas oh so merry
