When your candle burns low
thats when i see the best
When the darkness abides
I see what the light hides
and when the light is dim
I can make out the softness

And its now in this darkened state
that you draw me nearer
pull me closer until your clearer
And in this darkened state
i dont care about the light

It is in the shaddows
that you're really seen
It is in this blackness
that we do grow
and theres one thing i hope you know
that you have my heart
when your candle burns low
-one thing to remember, always have a good time, all the time

    As she slams the door in his drunken face
    And now he stands outside
    And all the neighbours start to gossip and drool
    He cries oh, girl you must be mad,
    What happened to the sweet love you and me had?
    Against the door he leans and starts a scene,
    And his tears fall and burn the garden green
