bullet bill flies again

The way of the gun is never the best
solves no problems no matter which way drawn
Hidden behind the rock where no one can see
slowly counting and building your brawn
thinking that with one twitch of a muscle
your pain and anger will all be relieved
waiting and watching for the right time to squeeze
prolonging the feeling is all thats achieved
no bullet can cure and no bullet can save
so raise up your voice and put down the gun
words can resolve the troubles you face
or you can fire the shots until there are none



another shot lights up the sky...

    A woman who lived
    behind a white picket fence
    woke up one night
    to the sound of a crash.

    She ran to the stairs
    almost falling instead
    and when she reached the bottom
    someone had a gun to her head.

    They left with her things
    and gave her memories.
    How to convince this woman
    of a bullet-less self defense.


    I was at an anti-rape rally. I agree with you, but one woman was a big proponent of guns as a means of self-defense. Now, as far as your poem goes-it inspired me so much I wrote a poem :-)
