possessor of the rajas and the sattva
you burn brightly in the night
possessor of my spirit and my heart
i'd follow you to the ends of the earth
devoted to you i am
in all your earthly pursuits
tell me your wishes
and i'll rub every lamp i see
tell me your desires
and i'll spill my blood to fill them
its you i'm bound to
while i'm here on this earth
with a love unconditional
and while my body will perish
far along in due course
i'll retain an evergreen soul
without a crease or wrinkle
cuz sometimes when you lose a gift
you get another one
-one thing to remember, always have a good time, all the time

  • aww man, i'm sorry, i meant to explain that part a few days ago when i saw your post. I actually stole some of that because i loved it so much. Its from Ghandi's interpretation of the Bhagavad Gita. I've been reading it out of curiousity and because i've been feeling pretty down recently, and i thought it was a good time to tackle it. I've been taking notes, writing down the parts that really strike me, whether from the text or from Ghandi's notes. So i stole them, but more so as a homage to their beauty. The evergreen soul phrase was one of the things i got from it.
