I just got a awards consideration dvd of the Into The Wild....the running time is 2 hrs 28 mins.....did people have trouble sitting thru the whole thing?

My child-like attention span will make it so that I have to watch it in 2 sittings!

I didn't have problems but then I have done movie marathons before..

it doesn't move 'quickly' though..really quite leisurely at times.. so yeah, if you have a short attention pan..you might struggle.

I didn't look at my watch once...which rarely happens with a movie that length...
  • no i didnt have a problem sitting through this movie, even though it was really long and i have the attention span of literally 5 minutes.

Into the wild is pretty easy to sit through- I really enjoyed it and plan on buying the dvd. I usually never have trouble sitting through movies but I sure did with sweeney Todd yesterday what a snooze! and the sad thing is most Tim Burton films are terrific. I just didn't like this one at all. :(

if thats your attitude when you get a film to check the running time, which in turn desides wheather to watch it or not, I'd say dont bother cos thats really sad. why not pop it or any film on and give it a chance if you get board turn it off but dont decide before hand basied on running times !!!!!!!!! *very odd*
