I contributed $23 today
to the prevention of my first son
He was just a microscopic booger this morning
No name, no face, no morning sickness;
Just a booger
Blasted through the breached reservoir tip
into the inviting womb of panic
Four pink little pills later,
he's menstrual flow
Didn't need an appointment at the clinic
Just walked in, handed over the cash
"I'd like to erase some consequences, please"

Neat, tidy, and convenient.
Better than a coat hanger, I guess.
